(St. Leon, Ind.) - Trojan Field has undergone a facelift and is ready to go for the fall sports season.

Renovations have been completed including a new entrance, new concession area and team spirit store, expanded restroom capacity, and improved accessibility.

The improvements at Trojan Field add to already impressive athletic facilities at East Central High School. In recent years, the school corporation has added a state-of-the-art Natatorium, turf fields for baseball, softball and soccer and a golf facility that not many schools across the state can say they have.

"When you get south of Indy, I can't think of a school that has comparable facilities inside and out that we do," said Athletic Director Kevin Moore.

Moore credited Superintendent Dr. Andrew Jackson, the Central Office Staff and the School Board for their work to make the facility upgrades happen.

"Having that vision of what it would look like and then seeing it come to fruition with the help of Maxwell Construction, it is very jaw-dropping. When you come up to the stadium and you see the back of those bleachers and you walk through the new entrance, it's pretty impressive," Moore added.

The improvements at Trojan Field will be on full display on Friday, August 21 when the Trojans host Lawrenceburg to kick-off the 2026 high school football season.
