(Harrison, Oh.) - Jake's River Landing sustained heavy damage following last week's historic flooding of the Whitewater River.

The laid-back river destination reportedly lost more than $100,000 in equipment. Because of the damage sustained, kayaking at Jake's is finished for the season, and their remaining live music schedule has been cancelled.

"We know those cancellations are disappointing. They’re disappointing to the musicians who were scheduled to play, to the people who planned to come see them, and certainly to us. We depend on those weekends too. We’re a small business and losing the final weeks of our season after suffering this kind of damage hurts," reads a Jake's River Landing Facebook post.

Jake's will be holding their Pickin' & Jammin' event this weekend.

"We had already sold advance tickets and campsites, and we made the decision that if there was any way to safely make it happen, we were going to try. So, for the past several days, our family, friends, staff, and an incredible group of people who love this place have been doing weeks’ worth of work in days."

The site still has no electricity, so the weekend festivities will be held together with generators, coolers, and a lot of hard work.

Pickin' & Jammin' will feature live music, cold drinks, food, and camping. The music begins Saturday, August 22 at 6:30 with the Comet Bluegrass All-Stars. HyRyder performs from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m. On Sunday, SKJellyFetti plays from noon to 3:00 p.m.
