(Batesville, Ind.) - The Fraternal Order of Eagles recently awarded the Margaret Mary Health Foundation a $45,000 grant to support cancer care and future health and wellness initiatives at Margaret Mary Health. The grant will benefit the Foundation’s Cancer Care Fund and Health and Wellness Fund, helping provide resources for patients and support future initiatives at the Margaret Mary Outpatient and Cancer Center.

The grant was presented during the Fraternal Order of Eagles Annual Conference Welcome Show on Aug. 9 in Dallas, Texas. The award recognizes the organization’s commitment to giving back to communities and supporting initiatives that improve the lives of others.

“We are incredibly grateful for the Fraternal Order of Eagles and their generous support of our mission,” said Jonathon Maple, executive director of the Health Foundation. “Philanthropy is about doing good, and that is exactly what the Eagles do. This generous grant will make a meaningful difference for our patients and our community, and we are excited to see the impact these funds will have in the years ahead.”

Gary Weber of Batesville, who serves as Grand Secretary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, said the organization was pleased to support Margaret Mary Health. “We are honored to provide this grant to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation,” Weber said. “Margaret Mary Health plays such an important role in our community, and we appreciate the care they provide to so many people. Supporting organizations like Margaret Mary Health is one of the ways the Eagles can give back and make a lasting impact.”
