Brookville Police Officer Resigns Position Amid Domestic Battery Accusation

(Brookville, Ind.) - A Brookville man has been charged with Domestic Battery.

Brandon Neuenschwander was taken into custody at a residence along Main Street on August 16.

Neuenschwander made his initial appearance in court this week, where a preliminary plea of not guilty was entered. According to court documents, Neuenschwander is also facing charges of Confinement, Neglect of a Dependent and Intimidation. 

The 37-year-old was previously a Brookville Police Officer. He has since resigned his position. 

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for December 17. A jury trial is currently set to start on January 19. 

Bond was set at $5,000 and Neuenschwander is ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims.
