House District 67: Frye Grabs Another Endorsement, Feuston Sets Education Summit

Two candidates for one of southeastern Indiana's spots in the state legislature are courting voters.

Republican Indiana House District 67 State Rep. Randy Frye (left) and Democratic challenger Cordelle Feuston.

(Greensburg, Ind.) - A local state representative has received another important endorsement as he runs for re-election.

House District 67 State Rep. Randy Frye has been endorsed by the Indiana Right to Life Political Action Committee, the candidate announced in a news release Friday.

“Thank you for your support for the sanctity of life,” Indiana Right to Life PAC Chairman Mike Fichter said in a letter to Frye.

The Greensburg Republican says he has co-authored several prolife legislative measures, including one which prohibits state agencies from entering contracts with or making grants to any entity that performs abortions or maintains or operates a facility where abortions are performed.

Last week, Frye announced he won an endorsement from the Indiana Farm Bureau's AgELECT PAC.

Frye is running for re-election to a fifth term this November against Democrat and Army veteran Cordelle Feuston.

Feuston is making improvement of Indiana’s education system a cornerstone of his campaign. He is planning an education summit to be held Saturday, September 8 at Yellow Dog Tavern in Versailles.

According to his campaign's Facebook page, Feuston met with officials at the Ripley County Health Department last week to discuss the drug pandemic in the region.
