Holton Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident In Jennings Co.

Investigators believe a medical emergency may have led to the crash.

(Holton, Ind.) - A Holton man has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident in Jennings County.

Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies say Richard L. Sutton, 69, was traveling west on U.S. 50 near County Road 200 North when his Chevy Silverado traveled left of center and went off the road, reports WIKI Country 95.3.

Sutton’s vehicle went into a ditch and hit a fence before coming to a rest in a yard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Sutton may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the accident.
