Fire Damages Beloved Metamora Shop

(Metamora, Ind.) – A fire broke out at a beloved Metamora business on Friday.

Metamora Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze in the historic district at Mr. Fudges Confectionery.

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and fire showing from the east side of the structure.

The fire was extinguished quickly and contained to one area of the building.

The cause is under investigation.
