Biker Hurt After Striking Stopped Car On SR 1

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A woman injured her leg when her motorcycle collided with a car on State Road 1 in Dearborn County Thursday afternoon.

 

Jane Cooper, of West Harrison, was riding her motorcycle on SR 1 when she crossed the center-line while attempting to turn onto Pribble Road at about 5:11 p.m., according to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.

 

Cooper’s motorcycle struck a stopped car driven by Robert Kiner, of Guilford.

 

Lawrenceburg EMS transported Cooper, 37, to the hospital for a complaint of leg pain.

 

Kiner, 62, was not injured.

 

The accident remains under investigation.
