The accident occurred when one driver failed to yield the right-of-way.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Four people were injured following a Labor Day weekend accident in Franklin County.
Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on State Road 244 at Buena Vista Road on Saturday around 4:20 p.m.
Deputies say Peter Connolly, 79, of Laurel, was stopped at the intersection of Buena Vista Road and State Road 244 when he pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by Ricky D. Williams, 59, of Shelbyville.
Williams was unable to avoid striking Connolly’s vehicle in the driver’s side door.
Connolly was transported by private vehicle to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
Williams and his two passengers, Thomas L. Williams, 83, and Debra D. Williams, 63, both of Shelbyville, were flown by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital with unknown injuries.
The status of all four victims has not been released.
