There will be other military appreciation at Saturday's event.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg will host their annual Community Picnic on Saturday, April 25.
The event will run from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. in Civic Park and will feature several fun activities, in addition to celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
The day will have a focus on military appreciation.
Starting at 4:00 p.m., the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard will raise the flag, fire three volleys and play Taps.
George Klopp Sr. will be honored as a 100-year-old World War II American Treasure. Bring your family and get a photo with him.
New signs will be on display for the Thomas G. Denning Memorial Bridge and the Lary D. Fogle Memorial Bridge. The signs will soon be installed along U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg.
"It’s an honor to pay tribute to my two classmates. Thanks to Mayor Kelly Mollaun and City Council for their support. Thanks to Senator Randy Maxwell and Representative Garrett Bascom for their dedication in getting the bridges named. I always say “If you want to see Small Town America at its BEST, come to Southeastern Indiana.” It’s Lawrenceburg’s time to SHINE," said PG Gentrup.
