Oldenburg Academy presents GODSPELL March 8 & 9.
This upbeat, audience engaging show written by Stephen Schwartz is based on the Gospel of Matthew. A small group of people help Jesus tell different parables using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a bit of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness and love come to life.
Reserved seating tickets can be purchased by contacting the school office, $7 for adults and $5 for children under 18. Call 812-934-4440.
