Adoption Advocates to Hold Annual Meeting
More Information (Eagle Country 99.3 is not responsible for external websites)
Be The One, a local non-profit whose mission is to see the world’s orphans adopted into loving Christian families, will be hosting their annual meeting on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 am at Community Fellowship Church located at 505 Bielby Road in Lawrenceburg. Speaking at the meeting will be Lucy Armistead, Executive Director of All Blessings International, an adoption service provider based in Owensboro, Kentucky. Ms. Armistead will be discussing the role of adoption consultants and the current state of both international and domestic adoption.
Be The One promotes adoption through education, advocacy and financial grants. They are currently seeking board members for 2020. Anyone wanting to get more involved in Be The One’s ministry is encouraged to attend.
Mary Beth Osowski, who with her husband has adopted three times herself, wants this to be a way for adoptive families to get together, make connections and celebrate their children. We’d love for individuals and churches to attend and to become advocates for the more than 17 million children who are waiting for a family worldwide.
