(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Jackson Bobo's dream has come true.

The Lawrenceburg High School senior will play college basketball after signing his letter of intent to attend Hanover College.

Bobo, a 6'8" forward, is a two-time All-EIAC selection, earning a spot on the all-conference team his junior and senior seasons.

As a senior, Bobo averaged a team-high 12.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks, and helped lead the Tigers to their first sectional championship since the 2008-09 season.

In March, Bobo was named IBCA All-State Honorable Mention. He was also named IBCA Academic All-State Honorable Mention. In order to be recognized, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale and a class rank in the upper 25 percent.

"Our coaching staff is very proud of Jackson and his commitment to Hanover," said Tigers head coach Brad Cutter. "Jackson has worked really hard over his career to put himself in a position to play college basketball. He obviously played a big role in our sectional championship this past season. Coach Miller and his staff from Hanover attended multiple practices and games along with making several phone calls in interest of Jackson. I think Jackson made a great choice for his education and will have an opportunity to compete right away at Hanover with a good off-season!"
