(Milan, Ind.) - Emma Voss has made her college declaration.
The Milan High School senior recently announced her commitment to Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama.
There, Voss will continue her academic and softball career.
As a junior, Voss was one of Milan's top performers, hitting .394 with two home runs, 13 RBI and 45 runs scored. She also stole 18 bases. A three-year letter winner, Voss has a career average of .363 with five home runs, 38 RBI and 115 runs scored.
"I want to thank my parents, from traveling when I was 8 to now almost 18, providing me with everything I needed to achieve this goal, and anything in between. To my coaches, teammates and best friends, thank you. I am truly grateful for the constant support and encouragement I've had through this journey. So excited for this new beginning and incredibly blessed to have the ability and opportunity to play softball at the next level," said Voss in a social media post.
Voss is one of several returning stars for Milan this spring. The Indians won 25 games last season, including a sectional title.
