Milan Wrestling Continues Undefeated Season With 'Battle at the Bear Den' Win

(Milan, Ind.) - Last night the Milan Wrestling team won at the Monroe Central Battle at the Bear Den.

Five wrestlers went undefeated at the meet including Matthew Baylor, Lukas Richards, Cameron Gilb, Zane Richardson, and Kyle Gotts.

This is one of many team wins over the past few weeks. Last week, Milan won at the Mohawk Invitation in Madison, Ohio with Matthew Baylor, Kaleb Wilburn, Cameron Gilb, and Zane Richardson all taking home first place in their divisions.

Overall the Milan Wrestling team has a record of 17-0 (1-0 in ORVC) and 7-0 against sectional opponents.

According to Milan Community Schools Facebook page, “We are proud of your accomplishments. Keep up the great work guys!”

Come support the Milan Indians at their next meet on January 6, the Old Capitol Classic at Corydon Central.
