JCD's Baber Named ORVC Boys Basketball Player Of The Week

The Eagles star put up some big numbers against two of the best teams in the state.

(Osgood, Ind.) – Jac-Cen-Del basketball star Brandon Baber has been recognized by the Ohio River Valley Conference.

The ORVC report for February 3-8 was released on Tuesday.

Baber was named the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week.

The Eagles star averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in two games.

There was no ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week now that postseason play is underway. The ORVC sends congratulations to Jac-Cen-Del’s girls basketball team for winning their 1A sectional at Waldron.

The Lady Eagles will take on Greenwood Christian (21-5) in Sweet 16 on Saturday, February 15 at noon. The game will be played at Southwestern (Shelbyville).
