Law Enforcement Training Being Held at South Dearborn Middle School

Community members may notice an increased police presence on and around campus

(Aurora, Ind.) - Law enforcement training exercises will be taking place at South Dearborn Middle School this week. 

The trainings will take place on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. 

During these times, community members may notice an increased police presence and training-related activity on and around the campus. Please be advised that these activities are part of a planned training exercise, and there is no ongoing emergency.

For the safety of all participants and to avoid disruptions to the training, community members are asked to avoid South Dearborn Middle School and the adjacent parking lots during the scheduled training hour
