JCD Hoops Star Annabelle Williams Receives Scholarship from HBCA

The HBCA awards eight scholarships each year.

(Osgood, Ind.) – Each year, the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association awards eight scholarships to deserving senior student-athletes.

Jac-Cen-Del’s Annabelle Williams is one of four girls to receive the Carolyn Pieper Scholarship. Four boys basketball players received the Jack Butcher Scholarship.

Each award is worth $500.

Williams had an exceptional senior season. She averaged 11.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Last month, Williams was named IBCA Senior All-State Honorable Mention.

She also excelled in the classroom as an IBCA Academic All-State Honorable Mention selection.

Williams announced in December her commitment to play college basketball at Mount St. Joseph University.
