(St. Leon, Ind.) – An East Central High School baseball star has signed his letter of intent to play Division I baseball.
Senior pitcher Max Hotze this week committed to Morehead State University.
Hotze was an All-EIAC performer last spring, posting a 7-0 record with a 0.99 ERA in 42.1 innings pitched. His play helped lead the Trojans to an 18-8 record and an EIAC title.
Off the field, Hotze carries a 3.9 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
He plans to major in the Pre-Chiropractic program at Morehead State.
