Woman Charged With Dealing Meth After Home Raided

(Laurel, Ind.) – Methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana were found in a Laurel home on Sunday, November 12, police say. Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department carried out a search warrant at a home on the 24100 block of Stipps Hill Road in Laurel that morning, according to a news release. Inside the home, deputies located the resident, Jennifer Broering, inside her bedroom. They also found meth, heroin, marijuana, legend drugs, and paraphernalia. Broering, 41, was taken into arrested without incident and charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine (level 2 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (level 4 felony), Possession of a Narcotic Drug (level 6 felony), Possession of a Narcotic Drug (level 6 felony), Possession of a Legend Drug (level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class B misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (class C misdemeanor). She is held at the Franklin County Security Center without bond. If convicted of the dealing meth charge, Broering could face up to 30 years behind bars and $10,000 in fines.
