UPDATE: Woman's Body Found In Florence, Cause Of Death Unknown

By Travis Thayer Update published July 17 at 9:50 a.m.: The body of a woman found outside the Citibank office building in Florence, Kentucky has been identified. Deputies identified the woman on Friday as Amanda Baker, 32 of Lexington, Kentucky. The cause of death is still unknown at this time.   Original story published July 16 at 3:18 p.m.: (Florence, Ky.) – The body of an unidentified woman was found in Florence early Thursday morning. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to Citibank at 4600 Houston Road at about 12:25 a.m. where the body was found near the building. Officials say that bank security found the woman’s remains and that the body appeared to have been pulled from a car and left outside the bank. Investigators said they don’t believe the body was there long because the bank has 24-hour security. They also believe that the remains showed no signs of trauma. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine a cause of death. Officials say Citibank has surveillance of the building and that the video is being reviewed. No other details have been released at this time.
