By Travis Thayer Update published Thursday, August 6 at 6:17 a.m.: Two people were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after a crash on State Road 1 in Dearborn County Wednesday afternoon. It was about 2:45 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Timothy James, of Batesville, pulled out from North Dearborn Road onto S.R. 1 and into the path of another vehicle driven by Barbara Cox, of Cedar Grove. The vehicles then collided, Dearborn County deputies said.. James and Cox were both taken to the hospital. A passenger in James’ car, Bryan Adams, of Batesville, refused treatment at the scene. Bright Fire & EMS and St. Leon Fire Department assisted at the crash scene. Update published Wednesday, August 5 at 4:44 p.m.: According to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office, three people involved in the crash were transported to Dearborn County Hospital. The names of the victims and their injuries are unknown at this time. Original story published Wednesday, August 5 at 3:32 p.m.: (Dover, Ind.) - First responders are on the scene of a two car wreck near Dover. The wreck occurred around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of State Road 1 and North Dearborn Road. Eagle 99.3 will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
