(Florence, Ky.) - On Friday morning, the Florence Police Department was dispatched to a road rage incident occurring near Dixie Highway and Industrial Road.
While being dispatched, officers enroute to the area were informed one of the involved parties tried to shoot the other involved party. It appears the incident began near Turkeyfoot Road, and the involved individuals were upset over the other individuals driving.
The incident moved west on Industrial Road into the City of Florence. Near the intersection with Dixie Highway the reporting party Stephen Humphrey, 35-year-old from Erlanger, KY was allegedly shot at by the alleged offender Devin Holston, 31-year-old from Independence, KY.
No one was injured during the incident, and the alleged offender Devin Holston has been charged with wanton endangerment 1st degree and taken to Boone County Jail, Boone County, KY.
Traffic was affected in the area while the scene was being processed by the crime scene and investigative unit.
