Two Teens Killed, Two Injured In Early Morning Crash In Hebron

(Hebron, Ky.) – Two teenagers were killed and two others injured were injured in an early morning accident in Hebron.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash in the 1500 block of Tanner Road on Thursday morning around 3:00 a.m.

Investigators say a 16-year-old driver and three passengers were traveling eastbound on Tanner Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck two unoccupied vehicles parked on a residential driveway.

Raygan G. Booth, 18, of Walton, and Nikki Overbeck, 14, of Independence, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The third passenger, Trey Underwood, 18, of Hebron, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to UC Medical Center for treatment.

The driver, whose name is being withheld at this time, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to St. Elizabeth in Florence.

The crash remains under investigation.
