(Ripley County, Ind.) – Multiple agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning in Ripley County.
The incident took place around 6:32 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 50 and State Road 101.
Upon arrival, first responders identified a Townsend Tree Service pickup truck inverted on its side, and a second vehicle off the side of the road in an embankment.
The preliminary investigation showed that the Townsend truck, operated by Craig Jordan, was traveling south on State Road 101, and due to foggy conditions did not see the stop sign at the intersection colliding with the SUV.
The 20-year-old from Brookville was treated at the scene and released. Kathrine Stirn, the driver of the SUV, and a juvenile in her vehicle were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
