Three Arrested in Thanksgiving Eve Meth Bust

A search warrant was issued at a home in Holton.

(Holton, Ind.) - A search warrant was issued at a residence in Holton on Thanksgiving Eve. 

It was around 11:35 p.m. when Ripley County Sheriff's deputies detained three subjects inside the home: Lucas Vaughn, age 35, of Holton; Alexandrea Curry, age 29, of Holton; and Destiny Walker, age 34, of Versailles. 

Deputies say they located suspected methamphetamine, syringes, scales and marijuana inside the residence. 

Lucas Vaughn is held behind bars for the preliminary charges of:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine – Level 6 Felony
  • Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe – Level 6 Felony
  • Legend Drug Deception – Level 6 Felony
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6 Felony
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class A Misdemeanor
  • Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
  • Possession of Paraphernalia – Class C Misdemeanor

Alexandra Curry is behind bars for the preliminary charges of:

  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6 Felony

Destiny Walker is behind bars for the preliminary charges of:

  • Visiting a Common Nuisance – Class B Misdemeanor

"This operation reflects the tremendous teamwork and coordination required to safely execute a search warrant and remove dangerous drugs from our community. We will continue to work tirelessly to keep illegal drugs off our streets," reads a statement from the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
