Local Author to Hold Book Signing in Lawrenceburg

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Jessica Elam recently published her second historical fiction novel, entitled Beyond the Field of Fire: A Civil War Novel Sequel.

The book is a sequel to Beyond the Bleeding Heart: A Tale of the American Civil War.

Both books are set in the early 1860s. The first book follows two young women attempting to make ends meet after the death of their parents. The sequel follows the sisters as they navigate separate journeys in the heart of the South. 

Elam will be at the Vance Tousey House in Lawrenceburg for a book signing on Friday, February 27 from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The event is free to attend. Books will be available for $15 each (check or cash will be accepted). Both books have been approved by Gettysburg National Military Park and are being successfully sold there.
