Attendance at the 47th Swiss Wine Festival broke a record.

(Vevay, Ind.) - The 2018 Swiss Wine Festival was a record-breaker.
The festival held during the last weekend in August drew 27,052 people to Paul Ogle Riverfront Park during its four-day run, according to festival organizers. The figure shattered the previous attendance record of 23,994 set in 2017.
Saturday was the biggest day at the Swiss Wine Festival, with 10,560 visitors. The featured main stage entertainment that night was AC/DC tribute band Thunderstruck (as well as a live broadcast by Eagle Country 99.3 that afternoon)
Friday’s crowd was 10,017 when country music star Travis Tritt performed. On Sunday, the crowd dwindled to 3,759. Opening night Thursday brought in 3,236.
Plans for the 2019 Swiss Wine Festival are already underway.
