UPDATE: Police ID Erlanger Shooting Suspect; Manhunt Continues

The shooting occurred around 8:00 a.m. Thursday during a traffic stop at the Dixie Highway Speedway station.

Update published at 2:25 p.m.: 

The Erlanger Police Department has identified the suspect as Jacob Ray Julick, 27, of the Florence area. 

Police say Julick is still at-large after he allegedly shot at Lakeside Park Police during a traffic stop on Dixie Highway. 

Anyone with information about Julick's whereabouts should contact Kenton County Dispatch at 859-356-3191.

(Erlanger, Ky.) - Police in Erlanger are searching for a shooting suspect Thursday morning.

A shooting occurred at or near the Speedway gas station on Dixie Highway. The suspect reportedly shot at Lakeside Park Police officers during a traffic stop, then ran away through the parking lot of AAMCO.

Dixie Highway has been shut down as police seek out the shooter.

The suspect is described as a clean-shaven, white male wearing a red shirt and jeans. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck with a slight mustache. If you see anyone matching this description call Kenton County Dispatch at (859) 356-3191.

No injures have been reported.
