INDIANAPOLIS - State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville) recently welcomed area students to the Statehouse for the Indiana House Page Program.
Alice Austin, from St. Louis Catholic School, Austin Balser, from Batesville High School and Huston Cook, from St. Louis Catholic School, joined Patterson at the Statehouse during the 2025 legislative session.
"There are many benefits to participating in the page program," Patterson said. "It's a unique experience for students who are interested in government, want to meet their state leaders and learn more about the legislative process. I always encourage students to take advantage of the opportunity."
During their day as pages, Austin, Balser and Cook interacted with and assisted lawmakers and staff, toured the Statehouse and joined Patterson on the House floor to watch the legislative process in action.
Students ages 13 to 18 should consider serving as pages during the 2026 legislative session. Contact Patterson's Statehouse office at in.gov/55 or 317-232-9740 for more information.
