South Dearborn High School Community Service Day Returns

The event is returning after a 3-year hiatus.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Main Street Aurora is excited for the return of the Community Service Day with the South Dearborn High School Students.

The past 3 years have been canceled due to bad weather in 2019 and Covid in 2020 and 2021.

For the 8 years prior Main Street Aurora has sponsored the event in partnership with the City of Aurora Street & Parks Department.

Students will work on tasks such as weeding, planting, mulching, raking, trash pickup, painting, etc. throughout downtown, Hillforest and Riverview Cemetery.

The rain date for the event is Friday, April 29.
