(Southeastern Indiana) - The Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (SIRPC) is thrilled to announce the kickoff of the LEI Arts Planning Initiative, a bold regional effort elevating the vitality of Indiana’s arts and cultural community through regional investments that benefit every resident’s quality of life, retain citizens and attract future generations of Hoosiers

The region includes all of Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, and Union Counties. This region-wide effort is part of a statewide movement to elevate Quality of Life, Quality of Place, and Quality of Opportunity through investment in arts and culture.

All are invited to join an informative webinar on Friday, May 2, from 12:00–12:45 p.m. ET to learn more about this important opportunity. This includes community members, artists, arts organizations, civic leaders, funders, local government, libraries and organizations across the region.

Hosted online via Zoom, the webinar will introduce the initiative’s consulting team, share an overview of the planning process and timeline, and outline opportunities for public participation.
