Provides children attending Dearborn County schools with bags of snacks and supplemental food.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Clearinghouse for Emergency Aid will be able to carry on its mission of providing those with food insecurities a hand up and not a handout thanks to the generous gift from the Ross Foundation.
A $4,000 grant was recently awarded to the Clearinghouse to support the Sacks of Snacks Program.
The purpose of the Sacks of Snacks (SOS) Program is to provide children attending Dearborn County schools with bags of snacks and supplemental food. This initiative aims to ensure that students have access to nutritious items outside of regular school meals, supporting their overall health and well-being.
