Twelve organizations received funding.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Rising Sun Regional Foundation (RSRF) awarded a total of $297,636 in new grants in the fourth quarter of 2024.
These grants included:
- $10,000 to Batesville Community School Corporation for a Student Wellness Center
- $23,000 to Batesville Fire and Rescue for EMS equipment
- $40,000 to New Horizons Rehabilitation for transit vehicles
- $40,000 to Ohio County Rescue Services for cardiac monitoring equipment
- $4,600 to Ripley County Community Foundation for Kids Riding Bikes programs for Ripley County schools
- $40,000 to Ripley County Economic Development Corporation for a new Ripley County Comprehensive Plan
- $25,000 to Rising Sun Municipal Utilities for electrical upgrades and transformers
- $20,952 to Rising Sun Ohio County Community School Corporation for a washer and dryer for the athletic department
- $40,000 to Rising Sun Ohio County Senior Citizens Housing for vinyl plank flooring
- $18,600 to the city of Rising Sun for community pool upgrades
- $10,984 to Safe Passage for HVAC replacement
- $20,000 to South Ripley Community School Corporation for softball facility upgrades
- $4,500 to Special Olympics Indiana - Ripley, Ohio, Dearborn counties - for a HeartStart AED package
Applications for the first grant cycle of 2025 must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
