Rising Sun City Council Approves Plan To Open Community Pool

The reopening will happen in stages beginning June 3.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The Rising Sun Community Pool will open in 2020.

Rising Sun City Council has approved a plan to reopen the community pool to Ohio County residents only starting June 3.

On July 5, their will be an evaluation to determine if the pool will open to non-Ohio County residents. 

Guests and employees should not wear face coverings in the water. However, wearing face coverings will be encouraged on deck and restroom facilities. 

The community pool is currently looking for lifeguards and concession workers. To be a lifeguard, applicants must be currently certified.
