Several Franklin Co. Roads Closed Due to Flooding

Franklin Co. Schools are on a two-hour delay.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Many Franklin County roadways and low water crossings are flooded, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. 

Heavy rain overnight has caused the following roads to close due to flooding:

  • Levee Road between St. Mary's and Snail Creek
  • Sanes Creek Road from Tee Hill Road to Mettle Road
  • Chapel Road from U.S. 52 to Bulltown Road
  • Bulltown Road at the slab
  • Stipps Hill Road between U.S. 52 and Red School Road
  • Webb Road at the slab
  • Pipe Creek at the slab
  • Shay Road at the slab
  • Stone Church between Little Duck Creek Road and Strawberry Lane (has reopened)

Motorists are urged to never drive through flooded roadways. 

Franklin County Schools are closed today with eLearning due to flooding conditions.
