Andrew Golden, 38, along with Josie Robbins, 31, of North Vernon, were arrested on Monday during a traffic stop on Park Avenue near South State Street.
The stop was initiated due to a driver’s license suspension.
During the stop, Golden exited the vehicle and attempted to swallow a plastic bag. According to the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, Golden would not comply with commands from deputies and a taser was deployed to prevent Golden from swallowing suspected narcotics.
