One Injured, One Arrested in Vehicle vs. ATV Crash in Greendale

The incident took place on Tuesday morning.

(Greendale, Ind.) - One person was arrested following a passenger vehicle versus four-wheeler ATV crash in Greendale. 

Greendale Police responded to the area of 700 Oberting Road on Tuesday around 8:15 a.m. 

Upon arrival, police discovered that the vehicles involved were a Subaru passenger car and a four-wheeler ATV with a snowplow blade attachment on the front. 

Ryan McCarren, 35, of Cincinnati, was identified as the driver of the Subaru and was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated (Class C Misdemeanor) and Operated While Intoxicated Endangerment (Class A Misdemeanor). 

The occupant of the ATV was identified as Michael Jauch, 71, of Greendale. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Dearborn with a possible leg injury. McCarren was uninjured. 

The crash remains under investigation.
