(Dearborn County, Indiana) – One Dearborn released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of major new investment, community momentum, and expanded regional reach across Dearborn County.

The report showcases two major business attraction wins, continued progress on Stellar Pathways and READI 2.0 projects, and organizational growth that positions the county for a strong 2026 and beyond.

"2025 was one of the most exciting and consequential years in One Dearborn's history," said Amy Fryman, incoming President of the One Dearborn Board of Directors and Business Development Specialist at The Friendship State Bank. "The groundbreaking of Whitewater Processing, the announcement of BWF Envirotec, and the continued momentum on housing and community projects are real signs of what's possible when our region works together."

Key highlights from the 2025 Annual Report include:

  • Whitewater Processing (Kopp's Turkeys) broke ground in August on a new 85,000 sq. ft. food processing facility in the I-74 West Harrison Business Park, bringing 130 jobs and $28.47 million in investment — with operations expected to begin in 2027
  • Germany-based BWF Envirotec announced plans to locate its new North American headquarters and manufacturing facility in Greendale, adding 60+ jobs and $8.3 million in investment
  • Kendall Property Group's $35 million Greendale multifamily housing project closed its full financing package in December, combining READI 2.0 funds, IEDC Redevelopment Tax Credits, and Greendale city support to bring 176 new market-rate units to fruition

"One Dearborn's role as a connector, convener, and champion for Dearborn County has never been stronger," said Mike Perleberg, Executive Director of One Dearborn. "From new manufacturing investment to housing and community development, we enter 2026 with significant momentum and real results to build on."

One Dearborn is energized by continued Stellar Pathways project construction and READI 2.0 deployment, the potential Opportunity Zone 2.0 designation in Aurora, and new domestic and international business development opportunities on the horizon.
