NWS to Hold Severe Weather Spotter Training Session at East Central High School

(St. Leon, Ind.) – The National Weather Service in Wilmington will hold a Spotter Training Class on Wednesday, February 21.

The class will take place at East Central High School from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A National Weather Service meteorologist will discuss techniques and safety for severe weather spotting. Once you attend a class, you will receive instructions for registering to officially become a trained spotter.

Classes are free and open to the public.
