Nine Schools Represented at 25th Annual Southeastern Honor Band Concert

Some of the top high school band members in the area put their musical talents together on Monday night.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Standout band members from nine area high schools joined forces on Monday night. 

The Southeastern Honor Band held their 25th annual performance at South Dearborn High School. In total, 63 musicians took the stage to perform five pieces they learned in a short time period. 

The five pieces were: 

  • Critical Mass - Conducted by Ms. Ellen Fennell, South Ripley / Composer: Todd Stalter
  • Flight of the Piasa - Conducted by Ms. Cameron Everage, Batesville / Composer: Robert Sheldon
  • The Wishing Well - Conducted by Mrs. Megan Gryspeerdt, East Central / Composer: Rossano Galante
  • Hopak - Conducted by Mrs. Emily Greve, Lawrenceburg / Composer: William Owens
  • Fire - Conducted by Mrs. Stefani Bedel, Milan / Composer: Gary P. Gilroy
