Nearby Robbery Prompts School Lockdown In Moores Hill

The robbery was reported Tuesday morning on Second Street.

(Moores Hill, Ind.) - A robbery was reported in Moores Hill Tuesday morning.

The robbery was called in to Dearborn County emergency dispatchers at around 10:30 a.m. from a residence on Second Street.

The report caused nearby Moores Hill Elementary School to go on a precautionary lockdown. A message from administrators to parents said the school has not been in immediate danger of any kind.

The Dearborn County Sheriff's Department is conducting the robbery investigation, dispatchers said. More information could be released soon.
