Napoleon State Bank's Osgood Manager To Retire, Successor Named

(Napoleon, Ind.) - The Napoleon State Bank, a locally owned bank, headquartered in Napoleon, IN, announced that Larry Armbrecht, Osgood Branch Manager & Loan Officer will retire May 27, 2016. Armbrecht began his banking career of 41 years with Bank of Versailles from 1975 – 1978, and then Ripley County Bank from 1978 – 2000. He was hired by The Napoleon State Bank in 2000 as the Manager & Loan Officer for the Osgood Branch. Larry has been instrumental in the growth of the Osgood Branch, and has formed many great relationships with the community. “I have had the privilege of working in a great community, for a great bank with very committed and caring employees,” said Armbrecht. “It has been a rewarding career with many good memories. I felt like it was the ideal time for Sharon Miller, a seasoned Loan Officer from our Napoleon location, to take the leadership role for the Osgood Branch. I know I am leaving you in good hands.” The bank also announced Sharon Miller as successor for the position of Osgood Branch Manager & Loan Officer. Miller has been with The Napoleon State Bank since March 2000, and has held several positions including Teller, Head Teller, Loan Processor and then as a Loan Officer at the Napoleon location. She is a lifelong resident of Ripley County with a BS in Business Management from Purdue University, and Commercial Lending School certifications. She is also an executive member of the Board of Directors for the Ripley County Chamber. “Sharon is the perfect fit to take over as the Osgood Branch Manager & Loan Officer at Osgood. Her 16 years of banking experience with different types of borrowing such as consumer, business, and farm loans will help her clients achieve their financial goals. Her local ties to the community will also be a huge asset in this role,” states Mark Comer, CEO/President for The Napoleon State Bank. “It is an honor to be promoted as the Manager and Loan Officer for the Osgood Branch.
