(Boone County, Ky.) - Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Brittany Trail in Florence early Monday morning for a shots fired call.

The caller reported he had found an unknown man in his daughter’s room.

According to a news release, the victim’s father stated that he awoke in the night and heard noises coming from his 13-year-old daughter’s room. When he entered the room, he found an adult male, unclothed, on the bedroom floor.

After telling the suspect that he was calling the police, the father retrieved a handgun and the suspect ran out the front door. The father ran out after the suspect and fired three shots into the ground near the front porch of the residence.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located an unoccupied vehicle on a nearby street. Using a drone, the suspect was located near Mt. Zion Road and I-75. He was placed under arrest on burglary charges at 2:34 a.m.

The suspect, Parker Kramer, 20, of Louisville, was interviewed by a detective at the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. During the interview, Kramer stated that he drove from Louisville to meet the victim at her home and made admissions which led to additional rape and sodomy charges.

Kramer is charged with one count of Burglary 2nd Degree, two counts of Rape 2nd Degree and one count of Sodomy 2nd Degree. He is currently lodged at the Boone County Jail where he is held on a $250,000 cash bond.
