Longtime Teacher, Business Owner Passes Away

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – A longtime teacher and business owner has passed away.

Donald L. Andrew passed away last Tuesday, February 1 at the age of 75.

The Madison native made his home in Dillsboro for many years. He had a 20-year career as a Physical Education teacher at Dillsboro, South Ripley, and Sunman schools.

Following his teaching career, Andrew operated the Aurora Tire Center for 31 years.

Andrew also loved farming and was an active supporter of local 4-H programs.

Visitation for Andrew will be held on Wednesday, February 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun. Funeral services will take place the following day Thursday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Ohio County 4-H or Ohio County EMS.
