Lawrenceburg Warns Community Of LMU Scam

This alert was sent out via Lawrenceburg's REACH Alert System.

(Lawrencburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg sent out a notice to citizens warning them to be wary of scammers. 

It has been brought to the city's attention that scammers have been seeking personal information to send utility rebates or claims of COVID-19 funding being sent to residents or local businesses. 

Community members are reminded to look for City of Lawrenceburg and Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities (LMU) updates at thinklawrenceburg.com, Lawrenceburg Facebook page, or through the mailed LMU Utility Bill insert.
