Lawrenceburg Man Sentenced For Child Molesting

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg man has been sentenced for child molesting.

Jacob Doneworth, 20, was charged in October with Rape, Child Molesting, Vicarious Sexual Gratification, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and Sexual Battery.

It was discovered at the time of his arrest that Doneworth was in possession of a crystal substance, a syringe and other drug paraphernalia – resulting in additional charges.

On February 21, Doneworth pleaded guilty to Child Molesting. In exchange for his guilty plea, Dearborn Circuit Court Judge James Humphrey dismissed the other charges without prejudice.

Doneworth was sentenced to 16 years in jail with eight years suspended to probation.

He is credited with 120 days actual days and 160 days total with good time credit.
