Latonia Man Charged With Rape In Boone Co.

(Boone County, Ky.) – A Latonia man has been charged in Boone County with rape.

Jonathan A. Davis, 20, was taken into custody Tuesday morning and charged with one count of Rape 1st Degree – Incapable of Consent – Physically Helpless (Class B Felony).

Boone County Sheriff’s detectives received a sexual assault report on September 12, where the victim reported that her friend had just raped her.

Investigators say Davis had accepted an invitation from the victim to play cards with her and several friends at a home in Burlington the night of the incident.

According to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, detectives obtained several admissions from Davis, where he admitted to knowing the victim was asleep when he began to have sexual intercourse with her.

Davis is currently held in Boone County Detention Center on $250,000 cash bond.
