Lane Closures On Front, West High Early Monday

Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 3:01 PM

By City of Lawrenceburg, news release

The lane closures are due to ongoing construction of the Whiskey River Apartments.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - On Monday, March 22, the City of Lawrenceburg will allow the Flaherty & Collins construction team to facilitate an early morning concrete delivery and installation work schedule between 3:00 a.m. to dusk for the Whiskey City Apartments to ensure quality controls are in place to meet the uninterrupted concrete foundation needs.

Expect intermittent lane closures at Front Street & West High Street leading up to the West High Street housing complex construction site.  Front Street tunnel to West High Street will be closed to thru traffic.  Flagmen will be in place for safe traffic controls.  Please use caution while traveling in this area.  All construction work coordination schedules are weather contingent.

We understand there may be noise impacts.  These special circumstances are expected to happen about four times throughout construction cycle as needed.  The anticipated Whiskey City Apartments construction completion is set for August of 2022.  On behalf of the City of Lawrenceburg, we thank you for your patience and understanding.

For questions, please email Communications Director, Guinevere Emery at gemery@lawrenceburg.in.gov or call 812-532-3500 Monday-Friday between 8 am to 4:30 pm.
