(Switzerland County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Geostabilization International is scheduled to reduce State Road 156 to one lane west of Patriot on or after Monday, September 23, to complete soil nail repair work in Switzerland County.

Work will take place just west of Wade Hill Road and is expected to be complete by late November, weather permitting. Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress. Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of construction.

This project is part of a $1.6 million contract awarded to Geostabilization International in August 2019. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
